Three new features that stand out in the new 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The new 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class benefits from a number of new technologies and styling features that set it apart in its category.

Electrification as standard

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class takes a technological leap forward by offering a hybrid powertrain as standard for the first time. The Mercedes-Benz C300 4Matic is equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that is the first in the manufacturer's lineup to benefit from a 48-volt mild hybrid system. This technology increases the total power available during acceleration and reduces fuel consumption during normal driving. This translates into 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, which can be supplemented by an additional 20 horsepower and 148 lb-ft from the electric motor, which also contributes to an average highway fuel consumption of only 7.9 L/100 km.

The latest generation of the MBUX system

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class features the latest version of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system that was introduced in the current generation S-Class. Like the brand's largest sedan, the C-Class now boasts enhanced voice controls, wireless phone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in addition to a driver profile feature that can be linked to the new fingerprint reader. This feature allows multiple drivers to set their preferences for several vehicle settings and recall them simply by pressing their finger on the scanner. The screen through which this multimedia system is controlled is also new, as it is an 11.9-inch unit that is placed vertically and angled towards the driver.

A new exterior look

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class gets a facelift with a new look that characterizes the brand's newest sedans. This design retains the elegance that has always been associated with Mercedes-Benz and adds a dynamic and sporty touch with its proportions that emphasize its long hood and shorter trunk. This impression is reinforced by the LED headlights and the brand's new A-shaped grille, which both have a more aggressive presence than before.
