2022 Mercedes-Benz A-Class: Luxury paired with exceptional value

The Mercedes-Benz A-Class was unveiled in its new generation at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show and subsequently Mercedes-Benz confirmed that its new entry-level A-Class would be made available in Canada. Fast-forward three years later and the new 2022 Mercedes-Benz A-Class is now offered as both a hatchback and sedan, and it delivers exceptional refinement and luxury along with surprising value.

The A-Class may be the most affordable vehicle in the Mercedes-Benz lineup with a starting price of just $39,990 for the sedan and $41,990 for the hatchback, it’s far from lacking refinement and luxury.

The base powertrain in both the hatchback and sedan is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder that delivers 221 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque (Hatch) while the A 220 sedan gets 188 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. Paired with a 7-speed DCT dual-clutch gearbox, this engine powers you up to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds in the A 250 4Matic Hatch. The A 220 4Matic sedan gets to 100 km/h in just 7.2 seconds.

Both the sedan and hatchback get a standard 4Matic all-wheel drive system.

Regardless of which 2022 Mercedes-Benz A-Class you ultimately choose, you get the best of Mercedes-Benz in a competitively priced package. The A-Class has a premium interior which you would expect from Mercedes-Benz including a dual screen digital touchscreen system, advanced safety and driver assistance technologies, and the revolutionary MBUX system that uses advanced vocal recognition to give the owner complete and simple control over every feature.

The A-Class has always been very popular in Quebec, and you can see why. It has the technology to keep you safe in any weather, the luxury and features you expect from a premium vehicle like a Mercedes-Benz, and impressive performance. The other thing that stands out with the A-Class is the fuel economy. Despite being quick and fun, the A-Class averages less than 10 litres per 100 kilometres. Give us a call today to learn more!
